'Lost cove' was my final project for my first year of college. I created this game alone using the unity engine. It's set on a misty island that, as you walk through it, reveals a story.
I learned a lot from this project both technically and creatively. Technically speaking I learned how to use unity terrain and how to deal with fps problems, this is definitely going to help me in the future with bigger projects.
Creatively I learned a lot about storytelling, I made a good few mistakes in this regard, mainly it was that I was creating a world for a horror story then I changed my mind late into the project. Next time I make a game similar to this one I'm going to write the story then create the world around it.
